Software suite effects packages like this one offer several advantages over putting together a library of plug-in solutions. Once an editor learns the interface and controls for a given plug-in, generally the interface is shared across multiple plug-ins, increasing efficiency and saving time because operations are similar in each window. That saves a lot of time over learning several new plug-in systems. They can also perform very fast changes to videos for quick edits when deadlines are short, as well as offer ways to preview final color grades.Every plug-in with the software suite is supported by Apple Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. (Other editing systems like Magix Vegas Pro, Apple Motion, Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve and EDIUS are also compatible with some of the plug-ins, but not all.) Lack of space precludes me from expounding about my experiences with each plug-in, but needless to say, Magic Bullet Suite 13 is a sophisticated, streamlined package of visual tools that lets me efficiently shape and polish almost every aspect of my video. Red Giant offers trial installers for each plug-in to test things out on your system that, aside from time restrictions or watermarks, are fully functional.
Here’s a snapshot of the seven Magic Bullet Suite 13 plug-ins:

Guided Color Correction helps you color grade by encapsulating an industry-tested color-correction workflow in seven simple steps, delivering a well-balanced shot that’s ready for color grading.
