Offering high-speed frame rates of more than 22,000 frames per second at full resolution, the Phantom v2010 promises ultra-high-speed video capture. The v2010 is capable of generating frames of up to 22 gigapixels per second on the custom-designed 1280×800 CMOS 1-megapixel sensor. Thanks to large 28-micron pixels, the camera has an extended dynamic range at 12-bit depth per pixel and very high sensitivity, even in low light, with ISO 5000 available for color images and up to ISO 25,000 for monochromatic shots. Connectivity options include SMPTE and IRIG timecode, Genlock, dual power inputs, a GPS input, frame synchronization, strobe outputs and trigger, as well as two HD-SDI ports that can be configured as a single 4:4:4 Dual-Link HD-SDI or as identical 4:2:2 streams to monitor on-camera controls and operation through an external display. The camera includes a Nikon F mount with support for G-mount lenses or you can equip the system with Canon EF mount, 16mm C mount or classic PL mount. Debuting with extremely aggressive pricing of less than $2,000, the Sony FDR-AX100 4K Handycam Camcorder is a compact camcorder solution capable of delivering Ultra HD video at 3840×2160. The 14.2-effective-megapixel, back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor captures full-resolution video in either 24 fps or 30 fps; 120 fps is also offered for slow-motion effects. The camera features Sony’s new consumer-friendly XAVC S file format based on Linear PCM audio compression and MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video compression. A Dual Video Recording mode simultaneously captures an AVCHD and an MP4 file for playback on HDTVs, Blu-ray discs or the Internet. The 12x Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens has Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and a seven-blade aperture for smooth bokeh. A Cinematone Gamma/Color function is provided for achieving in-camera looks. Compatible with any lens system capable of running on RED cameras, the RED 3-AXIS MOTION Control System works wirelessly to control focus, iris and zoom. Capable of 1080i/59.94, the 2.2-megapixel Sony Exmor CMOS sensor works well in low-light conditions with a sensitivity of 0.5Lux for color and 0.1Lux with black-and-white.
