Cine Lenses: For filmmakers and cinematographers, Sigma is expanding its line of lenses geared for cinema. At present, Sigma has three mounts available, including Canon EF Mount, PL Mount and Sony E-Mount. At the show, they were three recent additions to the line: the 28mm T 1.5, the 40mm T 1.5 and the 105mm T 1.5.
Art Series Lenses with L-Mount Designs: Sigma told us that it was also going to be making all of its Art Prime lenses available with L mounts. For instance, the product manager showed us the 135mm F1.8 DG HSM lens that now has a mount that fits on the full-frame mirrorless Panasonic Lumix S1. That lens will be available later this year.
Lens Adapter: Sigma also had on view its L-mount lens adapter: the MC-21 adapter, which will be available soon. This adapter allows you to add Sigma EF-mount lenses to a camera with an L-mount like Panasonic.
