The NewTek IsoCorder multitrack recording technology provides up to eight channels of recorded video from either inputs or outputs, with direct network support of any Apple AirPlay-enabled application or device, as well as EQ and compressor/limiter capabilities on every audio input and output. Transitions can be embedded with full-color, motion video effects and audio from a total of 11 animation stores, while the Animation Store Creator transition editor allows users to customize animation and effects. The artemis Cine HD Pro from Sachtler revises the traditional functions of previous systems, offering a new 1.8-inch post with a no-tool clamp and a refined gimbal with more control, higher precision and nicer handling. Dual video processing allows HD/SDI and SD video signals to be used simultaneously, and hot-swap technology allows continuous powering, even while changing batteries, so that the camera, monitor and radio channels can stay live. HiCap wiring provides more than 200 watts to the camera and can work in tandem with the hot-swap technology for longer battery operation. The modular design of the artemis systems also allows previous systems to be upgraded with the new CT2 1.8-inch post and gimbal, and the functionality of the Cine HD Pro can be expanded with available modules. With several new camcorders being released with large CMOS sensors, Carl Zeiss has released two new mounts for its popular CP.2 lenses. The MFT mount is suitable for new professional camcorders, and the E mount is aimed at the latest Sony E-mount camcorders like the NEX-FS100U. Zeiss is releasing all nine fixed focal lengths of the Compact Prime CP.2 series from 18mm to 100mm.
