The K-CIRCLE – LockCircle’s New Wireless and USB Camera/Lens Controller For Canon DSLRs
LockCircle has released a number of interesting accessories for the DSLR market, including the LockCircle Original Body Cap, which will protect your sensor during lens changes. They have just announced another interesting product – the K-CIRCLE – that is geared towards DSLR owners seeking to more professional features in photo and video mode with most Canon DSLRs. The K-CIRCLE is a lens control device that lets you control focus, aperture, start/stop, digital zoom, ISO setting, Live View and shutter speed.
The K-CIRCLE concept is based on two modules: the Base Module and the Remote Module, the Base Module is connected to the Canon EOS camera with a Lemo/USB cable, and can be used also like a practical USB wire controller up to 50 feet, if remote control is not needed. Has a built – in wireless receiver to connect to the Remote Module that can added later to the K-Circle set-up, offering to the Canon photographers and cinematographers the choice to upgrade to the wireless system later. With the wireless system, you can control the camera up to 150 feet. Wireless remote control obviously comes in handy when your camera is mounted on a jib, crane, or in a position where your operator and/or camera assistant does not have access to the camera, such as a crash cam.
The wireless Remote Module has all the same functions of the Base Module and comes in titanium finish. The Base Module comes in dark gun-metal finish for immediate color coding on the set. Built from billet CNC machined aluminum for heavy-duty abuse, it has an esclusive proprietary algorithm controlling focus in three speeds.
Delivery for both modules will be in February 2013. Pricing has not been set as of yet. For more information, please visit www.lockcircle.com.
