PortableACPower.com, Inc. has just released the new Freedom-1™ portable AC power solution, a lightweight power system that will enable your crew to take 110V or 230V AC power to any location. The Freedom-1 AC power system is a great tool to power up your lightweight lighting gear, but it can also power video monitors, charge your cell phone, or camera batteries.

Freedom-1′s technology provides pure sine-wave AC power that you would find in a professional studio environment. Providing 3 outlets, the Freedom-1 comes with a removable F1 Power Module that can be easily swapped out and recharged from an AC or DC power source. Each F1 Power Module can power a Litepanels 1×1 for 2 hours and 20 minutes, and while in HD or high current mode, the battery can power a K5600 Joker 200 for up to 30 minutes. A built-in fuel gauge lets you monitor the remaining battery life. What’s also cool is the the F1 can be recharged from an AC or DC power source, such as your car’s 12V system.

At the moment, the Freedom-1 is being offered at an introductory price of $749, including one F1 Power Module. Plus, while supplies last, each Freedom-1 will ship with a second F1 free.
