Cement City Girls

Just wanted to share a recent music video I helped shoot for Pittsburgh indie band, Triggers. The “musi-film” was directed by Kyle McCulloch, whose record label, Anomaly Records, the Triggers are signed to. The music video “Cement City Girls” was put together relatively quickly with virtually no budget for lighting or camera gear. With the help of HDVP associate editor Dave Willis and friend Dani Michaeli, we shot a live performance of the band at Crazy Girls nightclub in Hollywood using only the house stage lights and a couple of Litepanels Micro Pros that were mounted on top of our Canon 7D and 60D cameras. In terms of optics, we shot wide-open with a combination of Zeiss ZE primes and Canon zooms. Even though we were shooting in an ISO range of 2500 or above, I was pretty impressed at the lack of overall noise.
